Looking for free financial advice?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide free financial advice. However, there are organisations that may be able to help you.
Please be very careful about companies offering to write off your debts or repair your credit rating. You could end up making your problems worse. If you are looking for help you should start with the not-for-profit organisations including:
- Directgov www.direct.gov.uk
- National Debtline (Money Advice trust) www.nationaldebtline.co.uk
- Debt Advice Foundation www.debtadvicefoundation.org
- StepChange debt advice charity https://www.stepchange.org/
Finally, be scam aware. Scammers prey on vulnerable people looking for free financial advice using a range of clever tricks. Our favourite YouTube channel is Scammer Payback where you can be entertained watching the scammers getting a taste of their own medicine, but also learn the scams to watch out for. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/c/ScammerPayback
